I LOVE this cover. So excited for this book. And doing all the edits really helped as I work on the sequel.
1. The subtle flash of power
2. That it says “urban fantasy” without screaming it.
3. That it says “The Phoenix Institute Series” just like I imagined a few years ago when I was trying to name it, not knowing if it would ever sell.
nice cover…Great job…!!!
Ok, see, now that’s just awesome. Subtle. But it gets the message across quite clearly.
Hi….last things first: I saw references to Steampunk and Samhain & Paganism, and I am intrigued, so I sent you a friend request on Facebook. The way I happened upon your blog is that I read your review of Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, and tracked you down. I, too, have Windows 7, and had read some bad reviews about the way it interacted with Elements 9. Are you still happy with it? I’d like to buy it, but shied away after reading the complaints. There’s a project I’d like to do as soon as I can for Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, so I would really appreciate it if you could let me know….and also accept my friend request. I’m looking forward to perusing your work! ~ Dena
Hi Dena! Thanks for tracking me down! Yes, my interests tend to be all over the place. 🙂
I have to confess after I had to have my MS computer wiped and Windows 7 installed, I haven’t yet re-installed Adobe Photoshop Elements. I liked the program but my youngest daughter basically uses the desktop for the summer and so I haven’t gotten around to configuring everything I want on it. (Using the MacBook, mostly.)
I wish I could be more helpful on that one! Overall, I really liked the program but I can well imagine that MS doesn’t play well with it. MS is like that.
Accepted your friend request on Facebook!
That is an absolutely awesome cover! The blurb really captured my interest. I can’t wait until it comes out! 🙂
Very Nice Cover. I’ll give this book a read when it comes out.
